 Slash in Kaunas

On February 14. In Kaunas Zalgiris Arena for the first time in Lithuania performed a former member of the band Guns N 'Roses, an eccentric figure in the music world - the guitar virtuoso Slash! With the only concert in the Baltic countries the guitar star appeared with the band "The Conspirators" and Myles Kennedy and unveiled his latest album, "Apocalyptic Love".
"A hatted stage hooligan", "the best guitarist in the world" "The greatest rockaholic" - Through the many years of his musical career the Press didn't spare him any epithets. The one who made up the core of the group during the Golden age of 'Guns N 'Roses' with Axle Rose, and the one who assisted such legends as Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Michael Jackson and others, and has sold more than 100 million albums, the Guitar Guru who at this time actively engaged in a solo career. According to the magazine "Classic Rock" Slash is considered one of the best guitarists (slashers) of all time. In 2012 the musician was honored with a star in Hollywood's Hall of Fame Avenue.

Slash's image - a top hat, a cigarette, long black curly hair and sunglasses, tight leather pants, and a blue scarf in the back pocket. Together with the romantic 'bad guy' Axle Rose, Slash was probably the perfect duo, who made hundreds of thousands of girls to scream in stadiums out of love for their gods. However, to the sadness of all the fans, in 1996 Slash and Guns N 'Roses went their separate ways. The Guitarist founded the group "Slash's Snakepit" and later, together with former colleagues from Guns N 'Roses he brought together a group "Velvet Revolver" with which they released two times platinum album in the U.S. and Canada - "Contraband" (2004) and the second "Libertad" (2007). Over the past four years, Slash has been actively pursuing his solo career and has released two solo albums - in 2010 Slash was brought to daylight in whose records participated Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy, Kid Rock, Iggi Pop, Fergie and other famous artists. The second solo album "Apocalyptic Love" was released in summer 2012 and got to the fourth spot "Billboard".
